 | Description: Important original watercolor on cold press paper by well listed Italian painter Giulio Rosati (1858-1917), an Orientalist genre scene of Arabic horsemen, charging in the desert with rifles and lances drawn. Signed in the lower left. The piece, circa 1890, is mounted in a walnut frame with linen matte. Framed by Closson's Gallery.
Condition: Very good for it's age - Some minor acid toning spots in the image field, the piece is tipped-in on the backer, light wear on the edges of the painting. Minor wear to the frame.
Size: Overall measures 30 1/2 x 39," the paper measures 21 x 29 1/2"
