 | Description: Original chalk on paper after Jules - Louis Machard (France, 1839-1900), dated 1900. The piece depicts, in a fanciful manner, a woman blowing a bubble, in a light hearted moment. Signed in the lower right "V George Remy." A wonderful piece, mounted in a period, rich molded gesso over wood frame.
Condition: Good, the paper and surface is in good condition, with some light discoloration in spots, some chips and cracks on the frame.
Size: 36 1/2 x 31" at the frame, the piece is approximately 26 1/2 x 20 1/2"
