 | Description: Fabulous 19th century hand carved wooden French clock and wall shelf, in solid hand carved wood, with a light gesso layer, and gilt. The clock features a brazier at the top, with draped handles, carved laurel leaf garland details throughout. The shelf features arched brackets and a carved detail on the frieze. The face is enameled, and the works, though seemingly replaced, are in working order.
Condition: Good for age, with light crazing, hairline cracks and chips in the finish, some chips around the key holes on the face.
