Features fold back top with slide out writing table with an 18" x 31 1/2" writing surface, 4 small pull out drawers above desk area and one large pull out drawer below and fancy carved legs and guilt trim to lower part of table. Lots of room for a nice size chair to fit under the table. Marked to inside drawer Colonial MFG Co., Solid Mahogany. Some minor scrapes common with age are noted as pictured as well as some evidence of tape residue in one area as pictured.
Condition: Very Good for age with minor scrapes noted as pictured.

Still has original sales tag to inside indicating it was purchased at The Cappell Store in Middletown. Original sales price was $2,400.00 at the time. Hinges are still in very good condition and it comes with key that works. Lots of scuff marks on outside of chest as well as some small sections of molding missing from use and age. Inside is in very good condition.

 | Description: From the Jefferson Woodworking Co., Louisville, KY, this very nice mid 1900's Bent Rims #115, Colonial style solid wood table, comes with a set of 4 Colonial style solid wood low back Captain's chairs. The chairs are made by the S. Bent & Brothers Co., Gardner, Mass. and marked to bottom as such. The Jefferson Woodworking Co. was noted for making slide tables as pictured with this fancy geared track that allows the table to slide open with ease. Table and chairs are in very good condition for age with only minor surface scratches to finish in some areas. No noted deep gouges or scratches. Table also has 9 3/4" drop in insert to make over all length Some heavy loss of finish noted to chair seats common with use and age.
