 | Description: Excellent late 19th century cast iron boot scrape, with a figural Black Americana figure of a shoe shiner seated at the top, an arched acanthus leaf bracket, with an oval scalloped base. Features the unique design of screw turned pins which enable exchange of the scraping bar.
Condition: Has a good amount of ruse, with some loss of detail, still a handsome piece.

 | Description: Sweet hand made needlepoint textile in shades of blue, a quaint traditional scene of a shepherdess in a field, tending her flock in front of ruins. Signed in the stitching "MM," and dated 1977. Beautifully presented in a Giltwood molding frame with triple matting, protected behind low glare glass.
Condition: Good - very good, the cross stitch has two minor discolored spots, minor wear to the frame.

 | Description: 19th century hand painted Chinese wooden box, a small chest, with a hinged lid, decorated in polychrome, with what are now remnants of once quite rich court scenes on the obverse, the lid decorated with flowers and geometric patterns, with sides and back with irises and chrysanthemums. In a deep brown finish with hand forged iron hinges, handles and clasp.
Condition: Good, a good amount of paint loss, some small repairs, the interior appears to have been recently coated in polyurethane.
